Romelu Lukaku wants out of Everton, agent confirms
23-year old Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has confirmed that playing at Everton next season is not an option for him. And as the transfer window aggravates, it would be interesting to see where Romelu Lukaku moves as Everton will seek around £100m for his services.
“Staying at Everton is not really an option for next season,” Romelu Lukaku said in one of his interviews. “I am staying calm about everything. There is nothing concrete with another club at the moment, but my agent is busy discussing things.
“I’m not going to make big declarations on my future, but I know where I want to play: in a club who are competing in the Champions League and can win titles in England. Staying in England is best for me. I know the competition, and I’ve almost reached 100 goals in the league, which is a milestone I want to achieve.
“The Premier League is a dream for me, but I also want to win the Champions League, the FA Cup and other prizes. I don’t want to stay at the same level. I want to improve, and I know where I want to do that.”
As has been revealed by Romelu Lukaku, he would be willing to move to Chelsea or Manchester United, both of whom guarantee Champions league football next season.
Mino Raiola, the agent of Romelu Lukaku, has revealed Everton will let their star player go should the right team come calling.
“Romelu Lukaku had a promise that if certain clubs came this summer that he could leave this summer”, Raiola told talkSPORT. “We are not in concrete talks with anybody at this moment, but hearing the market I think some clubs will contact Everton. If the price is right for Everton and the project is right for Lukaku then I think he will want to make another step, but we are not there yet.”
With 2 years still remaining in his current contract at Goodison Park it will be interesting to see whether Romelu Lukaku is able to secure a move away from Everton.
